Hello everyone, it's Monster Mash time again! A chance for me to play catch-up with some stories that surfaced over the past week that I just couldn't find time to write about...um....until now.
Let's get started with our photo of the week. The subject, the very fetching, and multi-talented, actress/producer/director Amy Lynn Best. In this photo Amy shows...um...a couple of big reasons why she is a fan favorite. Look for her in George A Romero's upcoming film "Deadtime Stories".
David 'The Rock' Nelson Hospitalized
Cult movie maker and Chicago area icon, David 'The Rock' Nelson was hospitalized this past Thursday after collapsing outside a library. The director reportedly fell and hit his head after reportedly feeling dizzy. Nelson was transported to Lutheran General Hospital where it was discovered that he had a blood clot that had traveled from his leg into his lungs.
According to close friends of 'The Rock', he is feeling better and sounds very up beat in his conversations.
Let's all keep David in our prayers this week.

Alex Litvak and Michael Finch are reportedly writing the script for "Predators", which is scheduled to be released July 7th, 2010.

A New Alternative Poster For "Rat Scratch Fever"
It has been a few months since we had heard anything about Jeff Leroy''s delightfully cheesy (pun intended) giant critter flick, "Rat Scratch Fever." Earlier this week the director was kind enough to send us a special 'alternate' poster for the film's upcoming release.
