Fox Wants To Do It To The X-Files Inspired Porno Movie

It seems that the executives at Fox have finally gotten wind of adult film producers New Sensation's latest project, "The X-Files: A Dark XXX Parody", and they aren't happy campers.

The network has sent a cease and desist letter to the production company insisting that they change the title of the film and cease using any X-Files related trademarks or references.

New Sensations, though insisting that they had violated no copyright in making their adult film, have caved and now plan on releasing the film under the title "The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody."

In case you are new to this story, "The X-Files: A Dark XXX Parody"...oh wait..."The Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody" stars a Gillian Anderson look-alike (who honestly doesn't look as much like the actress as New Sensations boasted) who engages in a three-way and a cult orgy in a pornographic parody of the television series "The X-Files", which aired on Fox from 1993 to 2002.

Here are some pics that I dug up online at Joblo.com. Honestly the Mulder and Scully characters don't look like Duchovny and Anderson, but the actor who plays Skinner kinda looks like Mitch Pileggi don't ya think?

  1. Not that I know about such things, but... New Sensations is pretty much The Asylum of the porn world, with their "same name parodies" of popular shows and movies making lots of headlines. It'll be interesting to see if a rip-off factory and a porn company will have a lasting impact on US copyright law in the years and decades to come.
