HIS PORTRAYAL AS SUPERMAN AND CLARK KENT IS BEYOND EXCEPTIONAL! HE IS "SUPERMAN"!!!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-658662284013692766.post-54178854417837534832011-02-05T09:24:00.206-08:002011-02-05T09:24:00.206-08:00I wholeheartedly agree with nearly everything you ...I wholeheartedly agree with nearly everything you said Armand. I've never been a Superman fan per se, although I'm well aquainted with him through numerous team-up and Justice League stories, but I think that the only actor who truely ever captured the character was George Reeves. He had a commanding, confident presence as Superman. And he portrayed Clark Kent with equal confidence and like a man who enjoyed having his secret.

But, for me, Christopher Reeve's portrayal of Clark Kent was more entertaining than his Superman. Christopher Reeve completely failed to capture Superman's inspiring presence the way that George Reeves had, opting instead to emphasize the "big blue schoolboy" aspect of his personality instead.

And don't even get me started on the whole "Can You Read My Mind?" monologue. :-DDai Raionnoreply@blogger.com
