Rumour: Star Wars: The Force Awakens to bring back another classic character
We all know that Disney’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to bring back a host of characters from the Original Trilogy, with Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO – and even the likes of Admiral Ackbar and Nien Nunb – all confirmed as returning.
There have of course been some wild and crazy rumours thrown out there too, such as the potential return of Emperor Palpatine and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Now thanks to Star Wars News Net, we have another rumour, and one that should also probably be marked as “dubious”.
So, according to a source for the site who claims to have worked on the foreign dubbing of the movie, The Force Awakens contains a scene with the Jedi Master Yoda, which will presumably be as part of a flashback, or as a Force ghost given his fate in Return of the Jedi.

Anne Hathaway Monster Movie Colossal Settles Lawsuit From Godzilla Studio
The legal action taken by Japanese film studio Toho against upcoming US independent production ‘Colossal’ has been settled in court.
Announced at this year’s Cannes Film Festival with Anne Hathaway in the lead role, ‘Colossal’ came under fire from Toho - owners of Godzilla - almost immediately.
This was due to early publicity on ‘Colossal’ heavily emphasising its similarity to the iconic Japanese monster movie series, pitching writer-director Nacho Vigalondo’s film as ‘Godzilla meets Being John Malkovich.’

‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’: Why Luke Skywalker Had to Go
With just months until the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, anticipation for the first film in the franchise in a decade — and the first one set after the original trilogy — is higher than ever before. As the film’s final trailer hit, advance ticket sales crashed leading purchasing platforms like Fandango and AMC Theatres, breaking records in the process. However, one fan-favorite character has been noticeably missing from the marketing campaign: Luke Skywalker, the farmboy-turned-Jedi who served as the hero and audience proxy throughout the first three films.
Director J.J. Abrams has stated that actor Mark Hamill — who has long been confirmed to be part of the film’s cast — was purposefully left out of the film’s pre-release marketing, admitting that the plot of The Force Awakens ultimately centers on the question of who Anakin and Padmé’s son has become since the end of Return of the Jedi. So, while fans may be frustrated at the absence of their favorite hero, there are several legitimate reasons why returning stars Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher are featured on the poster and in the film’s trailers, with little sign of Hamill to be found.
Give Bigfoot A Kickstart
How cool would it be to have Bigfoot the star of his own epic feature film series? Now what if that film series was also part of a "shared universe" with other famous cryptid creature's films? Well that's the aim of "The Legends' Anthology"! An ambitious film franchise being brought to life by the creative minds of Matt Sommerfield and Jerad Beckler which will feature the infamous sasquatch and several other famous cryptids like you've never seen them before.
Batman Movie Reboot Rumored to be ‘Under the Red Hood’
The DC Extended Universe will kick off in a big way next year, starting with Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice in the spring, and continuing with the villain team-up film, Suicide Squad, in the fall. After that, we have years of DC Comics movies to look forward to, introducing heroes like Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg to the big screen for the first time, as well as some offering fans big event films like Justice League 1 & 2 and the supernatural themed Justice League Dark.
In the midst of this massive superhero universe rollout, there’s been vague info on when the two primary staples of the DCEU – Batman and Superman – might once again grace movie screens in their own respective solo films. It seems like it could be 2020 before we’ll see Man of Steel 2 and The Batman reboot; and while we’ve heard lots of plot rumors about the Superman sequel, it’s only today that we’re hearing some first rumored details about the Batman reboot.
Star Wars Villain Captain Phasma 'Very Progressive' Says Gwendoline Christie
Gwendoline Christie has been discussing her upcoming villainous role in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ describing her character as “very progressive”.
The 'Game of Thrones’ star plays Captain Phasma, the instantly-iconic chrome-plated Stormtrooper leader.
“We know very little about her at this stage,” Christie told Entertainment Weekly. “What I think people are drawn to is that this is a very progressive female character.
"We see Captain Phasma, and we see the costume from head to toe, and we know that it is a woman. But we are used to, in our media, connecting to female characters via the way that they look, from the way they are made flesh.”
