The Star Wars Report: Dancing In The Street
STAR WARS 8 The Last Jedi will see Snoke turn Rey to the Dark Side in front of Kylo Ren, according to an amazing new fan theory.
A Star Wars theorist has noticed something very intriguing that Snoke says in the novelisation of Star Wars The Force Awakens.
In the canon book there’s a specific line from Snoke to Kylo Ren that would suggest Rey could turn to the Dark Side in The Last Jedi.
The result of which could even see Kylo Ren turn back to the Light.
In his new YouTube video, Mike Zeroh says: “There is a little piece that hints towards Supreme Leader Snoke showing Kylo Ren the Dark Side in front of him.”
With all eyes on the second chapter of the third trilogy, these new characters are set to enhance the journeys of Rey, as played by Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac’s Poe Dameron and John Boyega’s Finn.
Step back 37 years to 1980 and the arrival of The Empire Strikes Back and you see the introduction of two new characters who had a HUGE effect on the direction of the plot.
Master Yoda was the make or break puppet character who – if done unconvincingly – could have fractured the internal reality of the movie.
The third act of the film also introduced Lando Calrissian, played by Billy Dee Williams. Both characters were a huge hit.
The Last Jedi has already given small looks at Rose, the Resistance mechanic as played by Kelly Marie Tran and Benicio del Toro’s shady character known only as DJ.
If ever Supreme Leader Snoke is really a Force parasite, this might fit another theory claiming he is an individual from the ancient history that only survived by jumping bodies, Daily Express reported.
Mike Zeroh assumed that there is more to the mysterious antagonist than what people saw in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” Fans can’t guarantee that Kylo Ren and Snoke are on the both side of the fence. The initial idea is only exploited by the Supreme Leader to join the Dark Side of the Force and leave his original personality as Ben Solo.
The theorist revealed that Supreme Leader Snoke has been watching the Force warrior since he was a little baby inside his mother General Leia Organa’s (Carrie Fisher) tummy. Hence, it is a big question what does the big bad guy really wants from the former Jedi trainee.
Despite the change-up in leadership, Han Solo star Woody Harrelson assures fans the film is on the right track.
This is also the first photo we've seen of Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca in the spinoff, who's taken over the role now from original actor Peter Mayhew.
With Howard directing, the Han Solo movie is scheduled for a May 25, 2018 release date. Each new release from Lucasfilm is already met with anticipation, but the production of Han Solo has had an unexpected wrinkle added.
Following the much-talked about shift in director from Phil Lord and Chris Miller to Ron Howard on the Untitled Han Solo Movie, many have wondered whether or not the film might be in trouble. Specific plot points are still unknown as is the title, but we should hopefully find out this weekend at Disney's D23 expo since it has been confirmed that Han Solo will not be at the San Diego Comic-Con this year.
Instead of bringing Star Wars panels and talent to the convention, Lucasfilm is focusing 100% on their space on the show floor. And it’s more than just a booth. Lucasfilm’s setup is typically a massive pavilion with kiosks for various licensees to hock their merch.
In past year’s we’ve even seen costumes and props from upcoming Star Wars movies on display. So, does this mean they’re going even bigger this year? We’ll have to wait and see, but fingers crossed.
If that’s not enough of a silver lining for you, take heart that Friday, July 21 will still be somewhat dedicated to Star Wars at Comic-Con. Room 7AB will cover the popular franchise full force (get it?), with twelve different panels throughout the day.
