Celebrity Apprentices To Design Comic Book Characters

After a heated boardroom debate on last night's premiere episode of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," which saw Joan Rivers emerge victorious raising $126,000 for her charity and Andrew Dice Clay as the first to be fired, the remaining 15 contestants regroup for their next challenge -- to create and costume a comic book character for Zappos.com with the help of Image Comics. The episode airs Sunday, March 8 (9-11 p.m. ET).

In this week's episode, Khloe Kardashian hesitantly takes on the role of project manager for Team ATHENA and Scott Hamilton confidently becomes the project manager for the men, Team KOTU. Khloe surprisingly matures in her leadership role and is able to get the strong-minded women to come together and collaborate on one idea even when one of her member's falls ill at a crucial moment. Scott has trouble getting the egos of Team KOTU to unite, and clashes with Tom Green's energetic personality, but ultimately gets the men together sufficiently to present their concept. In the end, the Zappos.com executive chooses the team that created the best comic book character, and Trump fires another celebrity with counsel from his son Donald Trump Jr. and CNBC's Erin Burnett.

Khloe Kardashian is the youngest of the three sisters introduced to Hollywood with the dramedy "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The show, which has quickly became one of the highest-rated shows on E!, gives the audience a glimpse into the lives of the Kardashian clan. The hit series rocketed 24-year-old Kardashian into the spotlight, enabling her to develop her own fan base, prove her strengths as a TV personality and initiate a series of projects to keep her busy. Aside from maintaining her daily blog, which reached one million views in its first month of launching, Kardashian now works as a spokesperson for Crest. She contributes to MSN.com and uses her attractive, outgoing personality to host behind-the-scenes and red carpet events for Celebuzz. In addition to dealing with the newfound responsibilities of being a reality star, Kardashian also manages DASH, the high-end women’s boutique in Calabasas, Calif., that she owns and runs with her two sisters. Kardashian will be playing for the charity, "The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness."

Clint Black, Annie Duke, Tom Green, Natalie Gulbis, Scott Hamilton, Jesse James, Claudia Jordan, Khloe Kardashian, Brian McKnight, Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers, Brande Roderick, Dennis Rodman, Herschel Walker and Tionne Watkins are the remaining celebrities still vying to be The Celebrity Apprentice.

Fox Developing Boldly Going Nowhere Pilot

In Hollywood almost everyone knows that pilots don't always lead to actual series, and those that do are often cancelled after a few episodes. So there's no guarantee the public will ever see any of these shows, but fans may be interested in what is brewing in the minds of the major studios.

Boldly Going Nowhere, Fox

Storyline: This pilot centers on the crew of a spaceship led by a rogue captain. The stories explore what happens between the adventures and how the crew members take care of daily routine things on the spaceship.

This pilot is from the people behind "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," so there is experience on their side and comedy. Since it is slanted for Fox it may be more family friendly.

Legally Mad, NBC

Storyline: Legal drama centering on a high-end Chicago law firm and the legal and social drama that surrounds the founding partners and their associates.

Kenny Ortega, of High School Musical and Newsies fame, is directing the pilot.

The Middle, ABC

Storyline: This pilot explores the life of an extended lower middle-class family in the Midwest through the eyes of the mother.

It is just one of the many shows in development about the "middle class", even though statistics point to that group getting smaller and smaller

Limelight, ABC

Storyline: This pilot revolves around talented students and faculty at an innovative performing-arts school in New York, where students explore the combustible blend of contemporary music and dance while balancing their dreams, hopes and struggles.

Can anyone say, Fame?
