Valley of the Dinosaurs was a 30-minute Saturday morning animated series that aired on CBS from September 7 to December 21, 1974, and later in syndication from 1977 to 1983. The show was produced by the Australian studios of Hanna-Barbera Productions.

The Groovie Goolies - Classic 1970s CBS Saturday Morning Cartoon

The American animated television series Groovie Goolies aired on network TV from 1970 to 1971. Set in a decrepit castle, the show centered on its good-natured monstrous inhabitants. Created by Filmation, Groovie Goolies existed in the same universe as Sabrina the Teenage Witch and The Archie Show, with crossover characters, but it was an original creation, not a spin-off from Archie Comics.

Filmation had enjoyed enormous success in previous years with cartoons based on the "The Archies" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" comics, which aired in one-hour blocks. In 1970, Filmation paired Sabrina with a new concept, The Groovie Goolies, featuring classic Universal monsters - Dracula, Frankenstein's monster, the Wolfman, and the Mummy - living together at "Horrible Hall," a castle that also served as an inn for monsters.

The 1976 film adaptation of Logan's Run, directed by Michael Anderson, took creative liberties in its interpretation of the source novel by George Clayton Johnson and William F. Nolan. While the original book set the mandatory "termination" age at 21, Anderson raised it to 30 and toned down some of the racier content to secure a more commercially viable PG rating. Despite these deviations from the source material, the film has endured as one of the most iconic and sensual science fiction movies ever produced.
