LOS ANGELES, CALIF. and SAN DIEGO, CALIF., April 2, 2010 – The wait is over as Famous Monsters of Filmland and IDW join forces to bring fans the exclusive debut of the full cover for the landmark Famous Monsters of Filmland Issue #251, featuring Richard Corben’s interpretation of the classic Nosferatu.

The final cover premiered today at WonderCon, one of the country’s leading comics and pop culture conventions, held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, April 2-4. IDW is hosting Famous Monsters at their booth #519 and featured Famous Monsters owner Philip Kim at their panel discussion on Friday, April 2 at 5:30pm in room 220/224. The presentation included the relaunch cover art as well as information about the additional variant covers and artists for Issue #251.

The magazine will be available for pre-sale at the Famous Monsters Convention in Indianapolis, July 9-11, and will be officially released at Comic-Con International, in San Diego, July 22-25.

Illness and Injury Sideline Noel Neill

Larry Ward, Noel Neill's biographer and manager, has cancelled Neill's spring convention appearances due to illness and injury. This was reported to day at the Superman Homepage.

She has recently been fighting a bout with a cold/flu and is slowly recovering from that. However, it was reported that she also recently took a fall and injured her right hip and leg. Thankfully, she sustained no broken bones, but it was a deep bruise and Ward told the Superman Homepage that "Traveling is not an option."

It has been reported at the Superman Homepage that her appearance at the April Wondercon is among the cancelled appearances. Noel Neill will be 90 this November.
