You know, when you are a fan and writer of stuff relating to monsters and B movies you get exposed to some really weird stuff sometimes. That being said, all the weirdness that I have been exposed to did not prepare me for watching the trailer for James Baack's movie, "The Bloody Rage of Bigfoot." I've watched it three times now, and I have no idea what the hell I'm looking at?
The clip isn't as much a movie trailer as it is an acid trip. There are scared little kids, guys with toy guns, fireworks, geese, a very pissed off clown and other strange crap. Come to think of it....I don't remember seeing Bigfoot at all. Update: Okay, after I watched it again I noticed the guy in the bad gorilla costume....I assume that's supposed to be Bigfoot? All the other stuff freaked me out to the point that I didn't notice before.
What gives?
Baack was boasting about a very different kind of horror movie, something very violent, possibly the bloodiest movie ever created. A Bigfoot movie like no other.
After seeing the trailer I don't know what to think? Is this indeed a horror movie or music video without music?
Oh, and if you want to get even more confused, here another teaser poster for the movie:
Funny, Bigfoot is on the poster?

Hi Monster Island,
ReplyDeleteThis movie: "The Bloody Rage of Bigfoot" will be unlike anything you have ever seen before. It does not follow any traditional formula used in any prior horror film. The story is told through the eyes of a psychotic and deranged person in a clown suit that calls himself Puss-E. He is befriended by an evil witch that conjurs up a horrific demon that later does battle with Bigfoot in a automotive junkyard during a thunderstorm. The film contains tons of blood, explosions, and action. The scene in the trailer with the two people wearing gorilla suits ARE NOT BIGFOOT. That will all be explained. I gurantee that everyone will enjoy this film once completed.
I'm hoping the footage shown here is all rough, like when filmmakers make a fake trailer in hopes of getting the real movie made (like Trey Parker's Orgazmo) Not to sound mean or rude or anything, but the movies I shot back in high school have better video quality. I am HOPING this turns out to be a kick ass bigfoot movie. I'll watch it either way.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by James. It definitely sounds insane and like you said "unlike anything you[we] have ever seen before". It actually sounds rather fun to me. I'm in for a fresh new spin on this genre. It's in need of something that's for sure. I really look forward to it.
ReplyDeleteI love what I'm seeing so far! What's not to like??? I hate trailers that show the whole film before you see the entire film in the theater! (hint: Hollywood) Besides, pissed off clowns are always a huge plus!
ReplyDeleteBring it, Bigfoot!
