'Star Wars’ Spinoff To Have Both Boba Fett And Han Solo?

From The Inquisitr

As of this writing, most fans aren’t even thinking about the Star Wars spinoff films we’ll be getting in the coming years. The film that’s likely on everyone’s minds is J.J. Abrams’ upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. But if Disney plans to release the films yearly as originally scheduled, then there’s bound to be significant overlap in production schedules.

As such, we’ve been getting a lot of news regarding the upcoming spinoffs — one rumored as a Boba Fett movie and the other as a Han Solo movie. The latest rumor comes from Latino Review, and states that Han Solo and Boba Fett may both be in the first spinoff from Godzilla director Gareth Edwards.

“I want to reiterate for you literal minded readers out there that the only new thing I’ve contributed to this conversation is that I heard a rumor that the Han Solo and Boba Fett movie that we assumed was two movies has become one movie.”

The potential existence of Boba Fett in the movie does lend some credence to the recent info Making Star Wars got on the project that “bounty hunters are important to the film,” though bounty hunters would probably be important regardless of whether or not it was Han or Boba leading the flick. One last bit of information we have is that the movie will be filmed, at least partially, in Mexico.

Star Wars Spin-Off Will Soon Head To Production

From Yahoo Movies UK

Although very little is known about the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ spin-off, it looks as though the movie will be heading to Pinewood very soon.

It’s one of the more mysterious aspects of Disney’s ‘Star Wars’ plans – what exactly will the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ spin-off be about? Unfortunately, we know next to nothing about this highly-anticipated movie… other than the fact that Gary Whitta and Gareth Edwards are on board to write and direct. But all that could be about to change when production heads over to Pinewood Studios.

According to Making Star Wars, the upcoming spin-off movie will be heading into production soon enough… and that means setting up camp at Pinewood Studios.

“When James Bond finishes up at Pinewood, it will relinquish its space and crew to Star Wars spin-off number one,” said their source. And it looks as though a production office could be up and running soon.

“The first non-Skywalker Saga story is gearing up to go into production,” they explained. “A production office at Pinewood will be there really soon is the word around the studio… After Bond wraps at the studio, it will return to being a Star Wars centric space for its second new ‘Star Wars’ film.”
