Over the past couple of months I have started writing articles about UFO reports from around the globe. Now I have my own UFO sighting to write about.
This past Friday night my wife and I were about to get into our car to go out to dinner, when I noticed two bright lights in the sky to the South West of us above the Angeles National Forest. To be precise, the lights were over the mountains to the South West of our location in Victorville, California. The lights were positioned one above the other and a fair distance apart.
At first I didn't think too much of it, but it did seem odd that I never noticed two "stars" that bright, in that location, and in that arrangement.
After dinner I noticed that the lower light was no longer directly below the other one. Instead it had moved somewhat to the left. I found this odd, because stars don't move.
My wife insisted that what we were seeing were indeed stars, but I had my doubts.
Later that night, I went out to put something in the trash and the lights were gone.
I had filed the whole thing away in my memory, until last night when I saw the lights again in the same location. This time, however, the bottom light was at an angle almost horizontal to the top one.
Again my wife insisted that they were stars or planets, but how are we seeing them in different positions every night?
I tried to take a photo of the lights, but they didn't show up. I think that the fact that the Moon was directly above them had something to do with obscuring the lights.
What are my wife and I seeing?
What you are seeing is Venus and Jupiter. Google it for details.
ReplyDeleteOkay....I buy that. I just wonder why they were gone later when I went outside.
ReplyDeleteFrick! That's means my wife is right.....I will just forget to tell her....
