It may end up a theatrical release or could head to Disney+, the company’s upcoming streaming service that launches later this year.
Chip ‘n Dale have been tormenting various Disney characters since 1943 but got a makeover in in 1989 with Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers. The show saw Chip, the brains behind the pair, and Dale, the goofball, running a detective agency and helping animal clients. Disney made three seasons' worth of shows that then ran in syndication for the next decade on The Disney Channel.
Plot details for Rangers are being squirreled away, but it will not be an origin s…
With “The Big Bang Theory” ending after 12 seasons, viewers can comfort themselves with reruns. The cast has those — and residuals— but not the reassuring workplace rhythm and camaraderie.
During the closing days of taping the hour-long finale that airs at 8 p.m EDT Thursday on CBS, stars Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and Melissa Rauch spoke to The Associated Press about their experiences on the top-rated comedy, and about what they’ll do next.
CUE THE KLEENEX
Cuoco: There’s a lot of emotions going on, very bittersweet. It’s very strange that a lot of people are coming up to me saying, “How are you?” like someone died.
Parsons: It’s a real rite of passage moment in your life. And much like more “normal rites of passage,” be it a bar mitzvah or a wedding or a graduation, there is a feeling of accomplishment. And like those events people also tend to cry, even if they are happy and they know that this was organi…

“Possibly the last of an ancient species of giant amphibious creatures that evolved at a time when the surface of the Earth was over ten times more radioactive that it is today. Godzilla can convert his radiation stores into a violent, focused exhalation of atomic ray. Rarely seen, but spoken of in ancient Pacific Island myths, “Gojira” was last spotted in 1954, when the U.S. Navy encountered and attempted to kill him with an atomic blast in the Pacific Ocean. Since then, the giant creature has been living in the deep ocean – until a threat to his survival from an ancient foe forces him to reappear.”

The other day, last Friday to be precise, I was sitting at work wondering, "What do celebrities dress up as on Halloween?" I mean, honestly, they pretty much dress up in costumes on almost a daily basis in their line of work. You would think that when it came to Halloween, they may be kinda 'over' the whole idea of putting on yet another costume. This whole idea really intrigued me, so I decided to get in touch with all the famous types that I have crossed paths with here at Monster Island News to find out what they had planned for the holiday, and to see if, and what, they were going to wear as a costume.
Here are a few of the replies, and they came almost immediately after I sent them.
Now if anyone would be kinda tired of putting on costumes it would be actress/stunt woman Patricia Tallman. She's played a Klingon, a Starfleet commander, t…
Tonight we continue our Monstrous May of Frankenstein films with the most honored bride in monster matrimony-in the film that had the great Boris Karloff make a second appearance in his best-known role, to pick up the narrative where the original "Frankenstein" film had left off! Tonight on MeTV, you will witness the ONLY appearance of the one Universal monster who didn't kill anybody- and, regardless of her limited screen time, has become a true icon of Universal horror- the “Bride of Frankenstein”!
This 1935 film- which is constantly requested by our viewers- starts on a dismal, stormy night- with the original story’s authoress- Mary Shelley-revealing that the Frankenstein tale did not end at the story's conclusion! She begins to continue the saga, from where the original “Frankenstein” film left off- with the burning windmill, the scene of where the final battle between monster and maker took place, collapsing. Poor Henry, thrown from its h…
Later this summer, Jonathan Hickman is bringing the X-Men into a new era with HOUSE OF X and POWERS OF X. But this isn’t the first time that Marvel’s mutant heroes have dramatically changed the game, and Marvel veterans have been reflecting on the events that brought us to this point. Adam Kubert has already left his mark with unforgettable runs on WOLVERINE and UNCANNY X-MEN. But Kubert’s choice goes back to a familiar place: the X-MEN #1 relaunch in 1991.
In October 1991, Chris Claremont and Jim Lee’s X-MEN #1 set the comic market on fire on its way to approximately 8.1 million copies sold. (That’s still an all-time record!) We’ve previously touched on the issue’s significance for the way that it reignited the conflict between Charles Xavier and Magneto. However, it was a much bigger milestone for the X-Men themselves. Nearly three decades later, we see this group of characters as the iconic X-Men. Yet at the …
