Price $500 - Order Here
A very rare piece of American Indian folk art, "Eskimo Boy Child" is an 8x10 ink on paper illustration by the famous Alaskan artist Fayma Robinson. When this piece was produced in 1973 the edition size was extremely small, only one hundred were produced (this is number 56 out of 100).
Ms. Robinson's work very rarely comes up for sale or auction. All known pieces are in the care of museums, libraries, or private collections.
This illustration measures 8 x 10 (most of Ms. Robinson's works were produced at this size), is hand signed and numbered by the artist, and is printed on parchment. This piece comes matted and framed to 11 x 14.
Note: Mild water stain on the top left hand corner of print.
Fayma Robinson (1918 - 1983) was a famous yet reclusive artist from Juneau, Alaska, who spent her life illustrating the Inuit lifestyle and people.
