The drive kicks off by heading north on Polk Street before hanging a right onto 3rd Street. From there, the herd continues on to Marrs, taking a brief right turn and then veering left onto 10th Street, ultimately entering the Tri-State Fairgrounds through the iconic lighted arch. This approximately hour-long journey pays tribute to Amarillo's rich heritage as a top cattle shipping hub in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Spectators are invited to line the parade route and cheer on the impressive Longhorns and talented riders as they make their way to the fairgrounds.
