Coors Cowboy Club Cattle Drive & Parade - TX 66 Festival in Downtown Amarillo, Texas

Get ready to step back in time and experience a true taste of the Old West at the exciting Coors Cowboy Club Cattle Drive & Parade, a signature event of the TX 66 Festival in Downtown Amarillo, Texas. On Saturday, June 7th, 2025, at 10 AM sharp, watch in awe as a herd of 60 majestic Texas Longhorns thunders through the heart of Amarillo, accompanied by a colorful procession of motorized vehicles and skilled riders decked out in authentic western garb. As the cattle make their way along the designated route, keep your eyes peeled for thrilling staged shootouts that bring the rough-and-tumble spirit of the frontier days to life. The drive kicks off by heading north on Polk Street before hanging a right onto 3rd Street. From there, the herd continues on to Marrs, taking a brief right turn and then veering left onto 10th Street, ultimately entering the Tri-State Fairgrounds through the iconic lighted arch. This approximately hour-long journey pays tribute to Amarillo's rich heritage as a top cattle shipping hub in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Spectators are invited to line the parade route and cheer on the impressive Longhorns and talented riders as they make their way to the fairgrounds. After the drive, be sure to stop by the Amarillo National Center where the cattle will remain on display during the Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo, offering a unique opportunity to appreciate these living symbols of the American West up close. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this unforgettable celebration of Amarillo's cowboy roots!
