Photos and Story By: Ken HulseyI have to share that I truly miss being just a three-hour drive from the incredible attractions of the Las Vegas Strip. There’s really nothing quite like it anywhere in the world! The beauty of the Strip is that you don’t even have to place a bet or catch a show to find entertainment. I remember spending an entire evening simply strolling along the Strip, taking in the breathtaking sights and observing the vibrant crowd. It was hours filled with joy and amusement, all without spending a single dollar!
If you're looking for something truly unique, I recommend wandering around the Strip at around 4 AM, once the bars and clubs have started to wind down. It’s a surreal experience! A few years back, I took my camera and explored the Strip during the early hours. I captured some fascinating moments and views that many tourists often overlook while they're rushing from one casino to the next or heading to a restaurant.
One of my favorite places to snap photos was the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. It’s not just a shopping center; it’s the ultimate shopping destination in the Southwest! Where else can you find replicas of Roman statues and experience spectacular indoor shopping that feels like you’re walking outdoors? The special effects create a magical ambiance that’s simply enchanting. It’s another example of how Las Vegas can entertain you without costing you a dime. If you’re ever in the area, I highly encourage you to explore and soak in the sights—there’s so much to discover!
