Yes indeed, it is the Decepticons vs All-Comers in 'Transformers 3: The War of the Earth'. The evil enemies of mankind, and the Autobots, square off against Spider-Man, Iron Man, The Hulk, Ultraman and The Terminator in a battle for planet Earth.
'Transformers 3: The War of the Earth' is a fanboys dream come true as Earth's mightiest heroes go toe-to-toe with the giant robot army of the Decepticons........
.....wait.....what? No, I'm not talking about the sequel to "Transformers 2".....I'm talking about the Chinese parody of "Transformers 2" called "Transformers 3: The War of the Earth".
You didn't think I was talking about THAT "Transformers 3"? ....Oh, sorry, my bad.
No "Transformers 3: The War of the Earth" is a very well made parody of the latest "Transformers" film with some great cameos from Spider-Man, The Hulk, Iron Man, Ultraman, and many others.
Overall, the video is a great parody of product placement in American, and I suppose, Asian, action films. It seems that just about every sceen has the feel of a commercial. Look out for items like Pepsi, Bing, and about a dosen different types of cars.
There are also a lot of references to Asian pop-culture like Master Kong instant noodles, and Zeng Yike, a contestant on an American Idol inspired female talent contest called, "Super Girls." As you will quickly discover, Zeng is not the world's best singer.
I'm not going to spoil the ending, let's just say that there is a certain American action hero who steps up and saves the day.....and it's not Chuck Norris.
Of course, the clip is in Chinese, so a lot of the puns will be missed by us Westerners, but it is still very funny. I would have liked to have embeded the video here, but it has regional restrictions, so you will have to follow the link - Transformers 3: The War of the Earth
