I just wanted to update everyone on a the progress of Cortlandt Hull and Dennis Vincent's four hour horror documentary entitled, ""Legends of Film and Fantasy".
Cortlandt Hull informs me that they have been busy gathering visuals for the various segments of their documentary. Apparently they have ran into some difficulty finding the original James Bama paintings he created for the Aurora monster model kit covers. According to Hull the artwork he is looking for is very rare and most pieces are in the hands of private collectors.
If you happen to own one of these pieces or you know someone who does, Cortlandt would love to hear from you! He can be contacted - HERE
Hull recently also interviewed cover artist, Daniel Horne & poster artist, Roger Kastel ("Jaws" & "Empire Strikes Back"), in relation to Jim Bama's work. Those interviews will be featured in a special segment that will premiere at "Wonderfest".
The opening & closing "wrap-arounds" for the new two-disc documentary have also just been completed. These animated segments feature "Zacherley" (photo above) and June Foray as "Zenobia The Gypsy Witch."
I can't wait to see the finished product!
