These photos are original studio images sent to newspapers, magazines and sometimes theaters to promote the release of the original Star Wars movie in 1977. SW-K-41: A Great Image of the Rebel Hanger on Yavin 4. Photo is in fine condition with no tears or missing pieces. Photo of Y-Wing and X-Wing fighters with Luke Skywalker and Han Solo in the foreground.
SW-K-39: A Great photo of Obi-Wan Kenobi turning off the Death Star tractor beam. The Photo is is Very Good to Fine condition with two tears at the top of the photo. Photo is complete - no missing pieces and the two imperfections could be covered with matting.
History:
It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire.
