'Fantastic Four' reboot to exist in same universe as 'X-Men' movies
Mark Millar has revealed that the new Fantastic Four movie will exist in the same cinematic universe as the X-Men series.
The Kick-Ass creator and 20th Century Fox creative consultant claimed that the studio is planning to put characters from both franchises together on screen.
"Without question I think you have to see some of these guys showing up in each other's movies," Millar told SFX.
"I think the most exciting thing in superhero movies, until The Avengers came along, was when Nick Fury showed up in Iron Man. Even though it was a guy with an eye patch it was really cool - and I expect we will see more of that."
Millar described Fox's previous Fantastic Four movies as "not very good", but confessed that he has a sentimental attachment to them because his daughter is a fan.
