FX Orders a Pilot for the Seth Rogen-Produced Animated Comedy 'Bigfoot'
While James Franco's headed to cable channel Ovation with a docu-series about his acting career and many side projects, his "Freaks and Geeks"/"Pineapple Express"/"This is the End" co-star Seth Rogen is also looking back to the small screen. Rogen and his writing/producing partner Evan Goldberg have gotten a pilot order from FX for "Bigfoot," an animated comedy. According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Bigfoot" is based on Graham Roumieu's books "In Me Own Words," "Me Write Book" and "I Not Dead," which are filled with philosophical musings from the perspective of the elusive sasquatch: "Me once believe in good. Now, no. World go shit, just like Bigfoot screenwriting career." "This will be the greatest show about an animated Bigfoot ever made," Rogen said in the announcement. Matt McKenna ("American Dad") will write the project and executive produce alongside Rogen and Goldberg for Point Grey Pictures, Roumieu, Jimmy Miller of Jimmy Miller Co.
