This beach is a genuine hidden treasure! While many Southern California beaches are bustling with visitors during the summer months, Crescent Bay remains a tranquil oasis. Its secluded location makes it difficult to access, and honestly, unless you’re a local, you probably haven’t heard of it. You won’t spot this gem in any travel guide or tourist brochure!
The atmosphere here is serene, with sparkling clean waters perfect for a refreshing swim. On the southern edge, there’s a delightful cove teeming with seashells just waiting to be discovered—a fantastic spot for beachcombing! Whether you’re into sunbathing, swimming, or even catching a few waves on a boogie board, this beach caters to all. It’s well-maintained, with plenty of restroom facilities available for your convenience.
Crescent Bay is an excellent choice for a fun-filled summer afternoon, or, if you prefer a quieter experience, visit during the winter months to unwind, meditate, or simply escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life—chances are, you’ll find it mostly deserted!
Don’t miss the breathtaking views from Crescent Bay Point, where you can admire the stunning beach and coastline, along with the impressive Two Rock Point—a prominent rock formation just offshore that’s home to lively sea lions and a variety of sea birds.
