Just about every heterosexual male around the globe has heard of the "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue". One hundred plus pages of filled with photographs of some of the worlds most beautiful women, dressed in next to nothing, sometimes in their 'birthday suites', photographed against some of the most exotic locations around the globe. Page after page of sun drenched flesh, each photo an erotic fantasy come to life. Pure feminine beauty and sexuality right there in front of you.

This article has nothing to do with any of that.

Well, not in a pure sense anyway. Think of this as a swimsuit issue that one might find on the nightstand of Gomez Addams or possibly Uncle Creepy.

True, all the curves are in the right place. But, unless you like mutant women. These kissers may be more likely to provoke nightmares instead of tropic day-dream fantasies.

Under all this make-up, if you can imagine it, are a fine collection of truly sexy young ladies. I have had the pleasure of talking to actress Melanie Robel on several occasions, and she is rather stunning.

No, I'm afraid this is Director Terence Muncy's idea of a candid photo shoot.....or should I say, a horror movie. In "Bikini Monsters", his latest movie, this is what happens to a group of young lovelies who cross paths with a 'mad scientist' who wants to turn them into mermaids.

Why would any guy want a chick with a fish tail? I mean really, with a tail instead of legs how could you.....um.......do the horizontal mamba?

My God! What kind of a sick, twisted, "Troy McClure" are we talking about here?

Here the film's synopsis:

In a laboratory somewhere along the coast of Florida a scientist is working feverishly on a grisly experiment. Known by the local transients only as the "Beach Bum" he is trying to create his vision of ultimate beauty, a mermaid. But test after test end up in failure, leaving behind a series of mutated abominations. Still, the experiment continues.

At a nearby beach the mutilated body of a man turns up, his female companion, missing. Detective Elizabeth Wayne heads up an investigation to find the killer, her only leads being the body of the murdered man, a single witness so drunkenly asleep that he claims to have neither heard nor observed anything, and a group of strange looking scales found at the scene.

Today I have a great video to share with you. In some ways it's a lot like a Sports Illustrated "Swimsuit" video, well, that is, if Spots Illustrated videos had green, blood-thirsty, women in them.

Terence Muncy has been scaring up a lot of publicity lately on the beaches of Florida with his latest film, "Bikini Monsters". In case you hadn't caught on yet, the film is about a bunch of 'all-American' girls who get turned into mutants by a crazed biologist with an above-average lust for mermaids.

The film will be ready for a Valentine's Day 2010 premiere.

Terence was kind enough to pass along several new photos, the DVD artwork and the teaser trailer for "Bikini Monsters" for us today. Bikini Monsters Scare Up Some Press In St Petersburg And Tampa - Exclusive New Photos!

We all have our own personal idea of what the girls in Florida are like. A vision of the ultra-hot females that are regulary seen on travel shows, in the pages of men's magazines and in videos sold via late night infomercials. Girls who spend all day on the beach, tanning their bodies, before they run off to wild nightclubs where they flash their huge breasts for drunk horny guys (some of them with video cameras).

Well, director Terence Muncy wants to throw a monkey-wrench into that fantasy with his new film entitled, "Bikini Monsters".

Sure there are ultra-hot girls in bikinis in it, though, they have been turned into blood-thirsty mutants by a crazed scientist with a mermaid fetish.

Hey, they are still ultra-hot.......well, parts of them still are.

Apparently when you are on the beach in either Tampa or St. Petersburg with a bunch of girls in bikinis, who aren't posing for photos or filming a travel video, and are painted green and have fangs, then you tend to get attention, even media attention.

This past week, newspapers in both Tampa and St. Petersburg ran articles about Muncy and his "Bikini Monsters" movie production. (see below)

Lucky thing for Muncy was that he was filming in Florida, instead of here in California. You could walk around Los Angeles with a bunch of crazy looking bikini girls and no one would even notice.

Hey, have you ever been to Venice Beach? I rest my case.

I think that this scenario has happened to everyone, you meet a member of the opposite sex, and, well they aren't the most handsome or most beautiful person on Earth, but they have a nice body and a good personality, so you give it a shot. Well, today we have few young ladies whose looks, no amount of personality will help you overlook. They have great bodies, but the fangs and cannibalistic behavior will make you forget all that.

So I'm sure your wondering where I dug up all these ghastly females?

Let me first state that these ladies aren't a bunch of Match.com rejects or anything like that. No, these are the science experiments gone wrong from director Terence Muncy's summer fun movie entitled, "Bikini Monsters."

Now, let this be lesson to all you guys out there, this is what can happen when you try to turn the neighborhood hotties into mermaids. No, really, the scientist in the film has a thing for mermaids and he tries to turn the local gals into fish. Well, half-fish-half-humans.

Remember the cute 1984 romantic-comedy "Splash" with Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah, where an average Joe falls in love with a mermaid. Just about every guy out there who has ever seen the movie, wonders to himself what it would be like if he met the perfect girl....who um...is half fish.

Director Terence Muncy has just begun filming "Bikini Monsters" a twisted tale of what just might happen if one of us lonely Joe's, who dabbles in genetic engineering, decided to create his own mermaid girlfriend.

Here the film's synopsis:

In a laboratory somewhere along the coast of Florida a scientist is working feverishly on a grisly experiment. Known by the local transients only as the "Beach Bum" he is trying to create his vision of ultimate beauty, a mermaid. But test after test end up in failure, leaving behind a series of mutated abominations. Still, the experiment continues.

Enlisting the aid of marine biologists Craig and Mike, Detective Wayne attempts to unravel the mystery behind the strange scales which defy identification. She feels that somehow they are key to what is going on.

As the bodies of more men pile up and more girls end up missing, Detective Wayne tries one last ploy to draw out the killer; use herself as bait!

Filming on "Bikini Monsters" began in the last week on June and will continue on until July 26th.
