Brad Pitt and his production company, Plan B, seem to have sped up the comic book to movie transition quite a bit by buying the rights to "Battling Boy" before it has even been published. Pitt is already slated to step behind the camera and a writer to adapt the comic into a screenplay is already being sought.

"Battling Boy" tells the story of a superhero who leaves his mountain home to protect mankind from monsters.

The comic book is scheduled to be released in 2010 and then the film will follow soon after.

Warner Wants Pitt For Their Space Odyssey

Warner Bros is courting Brad Pitt to star in a modern version of Homer's "The Odyssey" set in space. The studio is banking that Pitt will be able to score another hit, like his portrayal of Homer's "Troy" did four years ago.

"The Odyssey" was probably written near the end of the eighth century BC, somewhere along the Greek-controlled western Turkey seaside, Ionia. The poem is, in part, a sequel to Homer's Iliad and mainly centers on the Greek hero Odysseus (or Ulysses, as he was known in Roman myths) and his long journey home to Ithaca following the fall of Troy.

It takes Odysseus ten years to reach Ithaca after the ten-year Trojan War. During this absence, his son Telemachus and wife Penelope must deal with a group of unruly suitors, called Proci, to compete for Penelope's hand in marriage, since most have assumed that Odysseus has died.

It almost sounds like they are making a sequel to "Troy" set in outer space. Come to think of it......if you move "The Odyssey" to space, you end up with....well.....essentially, Battlestar Galactic don't you?. It's been done guys!

Lego Celebrates 30th Anniversary With Little Plastic Celebrities

Lego has decided to capitalize on celebrity fame to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their line of miniature plastic "Lego People." The Danish based toy manufacturer who has built an empire on little plastic bricks, has designed several of these UK and International celebrity miniatures with the likenesses of such paparazzi favorites as, Madonna, David and Victoria Beckham, Amy Winehouse, The Judges from the UK series X Factor, and Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (with adopted little ones!).

Unfortunately for Lego collectors and celebrity obsessed nut-jobs, these little people won't be for sale to the general public.

Hey, at least these little plastic celebrites won't have to spend time in rehab, or force their crazy political views on us. Actually now that you mention it, I like the Lego versions better. Any chance of replacing the real deal with the plastic ones? Would anyone notice?!
