Entertainment Weekly magazine has scored the very first images from "Iron Man 2", including the very first shots of Scarlett Johansson as The Black Widow. The Photos are part of a special "Comic-Con" issue that hits newsstands tomorrow.

Here is the skinny on Johansson's character from the issue:

Adding more flesh and blood to the new movie, Scarlett Johansson joined the cast as Stark’s mysterious new assistant, Natasha, who has an alter ego of her own, Black Widow. That introduction inevitably sparks romantic tension between Stark and former assistant Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), who’s been promoted to CEO of Stark Industries. "The men want it to be, like, 'Ooh, the girls are fighting over Tony,' but it's not as standard as that," says Paltrow. "There's a weird male catfight fantasy. Downey agrees. He believes what differentiates the franchise from other superhero series can be summarized as follows: "We're horny. Not, like, can't-bring-your-kids horny, but just…horny."

I have to admit that Scarlett looks pretty good as The Black Widow, maybe not as hot as she did in "The Spirit".....okay let's cut through the bull, she looks hot no matter what. She could be wearing a ton of horse dung and we guys would be climbing over each other to sneak a look.

  1. Since we're being honest here, I'll confess that my first thought when I saw this pic was "Not enough cleavage showing." One assumes they will "correct" this problem in subsequent stills. That said, I thought she was playing the Black Widow (a redheaded spy from the Avengers side of the Marvel Universe), not the Black Cat (a platinum-haired cat burglar from Spider-Man's hometown of New York).
