I just wanted to write a quick update about Suzi Lorraine's horror comedy "Won Ton Baby." The production team wrapped principal photography on June 1st and are presently filming special effects shots with the half human/half monster "baby".
Both Lorraine and the film's star, Debbie Rochon have been doing the rounds promoting the film and IMDB has finally listed the film on their site. You can check that out here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1449395/
"Won Ton Baby" came from Lorraine's love of the 80s film "Basket Case" and also the medical condition known as "fetus infetu". The actress and director, James Morgart, both combined their talents to develop a comedic take on the medical condition where one twin ends up being a parasite to the other healthy twin while still in the whom. The parasitic twin is often nothing more than a pygmy looking half human/half monster with a patch of long hair when it is born.
If you are a fan of twisted humor then "Won Ton Baby" will be right up your alley. The film has it all, Chinese prostitutes, a demon baby, camp humor, blood and guts and "The King of Rock-N-Roll".....well ....sorta.
Oh, and don't let me forget to mention that the film also stars Gunnar Hansen who played Leatherface in "The Texas Chain Saw Massacre."
Here are some photos from the set:
