With the stunned werewolf slung across his shoulder, Moon Knight ascends the rope ladder leading to his Moon-Chopper. The police fire off a few shots in the hopes of bringing them down, but the chopper flies out of range.
In Haiti, Raymond Coker goes to the swampland hut of Jeesala of the Thousand Years. He tells her of his experience as a werewolf and also tells her of an incident concerning the sudden deaths of his aunt and uncle. He recounts testimony provided by his cousin Banita, which claims that her parents were strangled and dragged off by a man named Papa Jaranda. Papa Jaranda is Coker's great-grandfather and he died over thirty-two years ago. Jeesala tells him that the zuvembies have returned to Haiti. She refers him to a man named Jericho Drumm.
Back in the United States, the werewolf awakens mere inches away from the cabin of the helicopter. He begins lashing out at Moon Knight and the two topple from the rope ladder and plummet into the ocean. Moon Knight drags the stunned werewolf onto the nearby docks and they continue battling one another. As dawn rises, the werewolf turns back into Jack Russell. Moon Knight puts him down for the count with a well-placed boot to the jaw. He meets back up with Frenchie and together they bring Jack, as well as Lissa and Topaz to the Committee.
Meanwhile at Westwood Hospital, Elaine Marston and her daughter Buttons visits the room of coma patient Buck Cowan. The doctors explain that his injuries are quite severe and that he may even suffer from paralysis - providing of course that he even awakens from his coma.
At the Committee headquarters, the leader of the organization pays Moon Knight his ten-thousand dollar stipend. Jack Russell is concealed in a cage, while Lissa and Topaz are bound to a nearby wall. The Committee member reveals that he plans on using Jack as a secret weapon to eliminate rivals. Jack yells at Moon Knight and tells him that he hasn't just captured a monster, but an actual human being. Rhetorically, he asks him "Are you shocked to hear that I'm an honest-to-God person -- ?" Something in Jack's words sparks Moon Knight's conscience and he regrets having captured him. As the moon rises on the third night, Jack transforms once again into the werewolf. Moon Knight refuses to allow the Committee to use him as their personal secret weapon, so he frees Jack and together they tear into the Committee members. Most of them flee in terror, but the werewolf manages to rake their leader across the face with his claws. Moon Knight uses his crescent darts to free Lissa and Topaz then runs off. When the room is clear of bodies, the werewolf likewise leaves and races off into the night.
This comic book is in used condition. Comic is complete with cover and all pages attached. This comic has flaws that warrant a VF grade.

The Hangman stands on a building ledge holding a rope, at the end of which swings the Werewolf, his neck in the noose. The Werewolf reaches a flagpole then yanks the rope to force the Hangman off the ledge. They both fall to the sidewalk below, and the vigilante swings his scythe for a killing blow. The beast dodges, and the blade severs the rope, allowing him to run away. The Hangman returns to his original objective, the hospitalized scientist, Dr. Winston Ridditch, whose formula transformed him a month before into the evil DePrayve. The vigilante abducts Ridditch and takes him to his lair in an abandoned movie house.

There is a unwritten rule in playground sports known as a "do over", a fail safe for when the outcome of a play in football or basketball comes into question and neither team can agree on a resolution. The "do over" is exactly what it sounds like, the team with the ball starts over as if the prior play never happened. Hollywood, it would seem, has begun to embrace this tactic when ever it pulls a boner as well. Screw up a film, no problem, just wait a couple of years and do it again (aka The Hulk).
Well as everyone knows Universal pulled a major "boner" last year with their updated version of the 1941 horror classic "The Wolfman" that sank like a lead weight with the fans. Wanting eagerly to push the reset button the studio has set out to venture into the genre yet once again.
Not wanting to repeat the mistakes of "The Wolfman" Universal has opted not to make yet another remake their iconic film, but produce another sequel for it (There were several produced in the 40s).
The studio is now moving forward with "Werewolf" a film that was written by Michael Tabb that reportedly has ties to the George Waggner classic. The studio has also hired a rather lesser known director, Louis Morneau (Carnosaur 2, The Hitcher 2, Joy Ride 2) to take the project under his wing.
There is already alot of internet buzz about the hiring of Morneau due to the fact that he is known for directing lesser grade direct to DVD sequels. This of course had lead to speculation that "Werewolf" will be following the same path by bypassing theaters and going strait to store shelves.
Being Human, BBC Three's award-winning and critically acclaimed drama series, written and created by Toby Whithouse, will return for a fourth series next year.
Following the gripping series three finale – in which overnight figures show 1.1m viewers watched Mitchell fall victim to the wolf-shaped bullet – series four will see the aftermath as the housemates return to their home in Barry Island.
The series will also introduce some new faces following the success of recent guest artists Lacey Turner, Robson Green and Michael Socha.
Produced by Touchpaper Wales, part of Zodiak Media Group, the hit drama will fulfil the bloodthirsty appetites of its ongoing committed fan base, but also demonstrate BBC Three's commitment to original UK drama for 16-34 year olds.
Consolidated figures show series three had the biggest series launch to date, with 1.8m viewers. The series sustained an average of 1.4m viewers on television across the run and has an additional 0.4m requests per episode on iPlayer each week.
Becoming Human, Being Human's exclusive online extension drama also made by Touchpaper Wales, has also moved from online to BBC Three for its final episode airing on Sunday 20 March at 9.00pm.
This is BBC Three's most successful multiplatform commission, with over 1.5m views on the red button and online to date.

How do viewers meet Annie in the new series, as she was left in purgatory in the series two?
When we see her in episode one she is in a bad way – she is still in purgatory and frantic about what will happen to her. She is crying out for help and you get a sense of her desperation. It doesn't look good for her at the beginning of the series.
How does Annie feel about the move to Barry?
To say she is less than excited would probably be the right thing. I don't think Annie is great with change. She likes her routine, she likes familiar surroundings. The fact that they've moved puts her out a little bit and then she surveys Barry and is even more unenthused. But she gets used to it pretty quickly and it does become her home. She's a good homemaker, Annie, so she can cope.
Do you think she'll miss Bristol?
I think there is an element of that, but also a really nice sense of starting again and a fresh start – which I think they all want and need – and, for Annie, it's a chance to make new memories of a place and wipe the slate clean. There is a lot of stuff that wasn't so great about the place she was in – and Bristol itself – so the move is for the best.
How would you describe the new pad?
Big! Big and really fantastic – we were blown away by the set. It's stunning on and off camera. It felt like being in a big dolls' house and felt very homely for a set. It was much more solid then the last set and on a much bigger scale. The attention to detail is exquisite – I was so impressed.
Will Annie's rescue from purgatory show a different side to her this series?
Definitely. Annie's done a 360. When we meet her in series three, she is much more empowered and secure – and I think that's because the worst thing that could have happened to her has happened. She now has fearlessness about her and a real appreciation for everybody that is in her little life. We definitely see a different side to her this series – she has definitely grown.
How would you describe the new characters?
There are some fantastic new characters in the show. This series really starts to pad out the world that the three of them find themselves in. It becomes a lot more complex and you see the scale of what's going on. It's not just the three of them in a flat anymore; it starts to filter out into the real world. There are some brilliant cameos and brilliant regulars that take us through series three. You'll laugh, cry and drool!
The new characters mean the three of us really start to build up a community, as we realise we are not alone. It's what I'd call an alternative community, which they are introduced to and when they begin to explore and become part of it, it's really exciting. But the three of us are still very much a tight unit.
How has it been working with all the fantastic guest stars?
All the guest stars were pretty amazing. Lacey Turner was fantastic – she was great to work with and a lovely person. We had some great scenes together.
Have there been any memorable scenes this year, any scenes that have been particularly fun to shoot?
There's a scene where Russell has to give us this weird look and I don't know how he does it, but he managed to have everybody in hysterics. Even members of the crew had to step off set. We were just in absolute fits – professionalism went out the window completely!
When you get the scripts have there ever been moments when you think: "I never thought they would take Annie there"?
There are a lot of surprises for Annie in this series. The thing with Toby is you just trust him that much that you don't want to second guess him. I won't lie – everybody has a pop at what they think is going to happen – but he just manages to make everything make sense, it's all very organic.
And I'm always in absolute surprise by what's coming next and it keeps me on my toes. It draws me in. Even if you feel you saw it coming, Toby writes it in such a way that you'll have that "huh?" moment.
But one thing I will say is that you need to stick with series three till the end – the end is a blinder!
Independent Filmmaker Jeremiah Sayys, who made is directorial debut with the psychological horror film “Of Silence” (www.ofsilencefilm.com) due to begin hitting film festivals next year, is being linked to many projects that’s being developed by his independent production company, WorldsLastHero Productions. Sayys’ next project seems to be the werewolf film “WULF”, but with many rumors floating around and misinformation being spread, Sayys’ has decided to clear up the rumors and misinformation.
Sayys, “My next official project is “WULF”, a werewolf horror film that we will go into production on in April. Any rumors regarding me doing any other film project other than “WULF” is simply not true. I’m very excited about the project.
It’s a very tragic, intense story and it’s going to be an amazing experience. However, at the very beginning of this year we were set to go into pre-production on the film “DeadLands Cry”, but because of budget reasons we had to push that film back on the company’s film slate and “WULF” took its place. As far as misinformation goes, is the casting of “WULF”. A couple of actors and actresses have been linked to the film and is said to be attached, but they aren’t. We’re “in talks” with some talent, but that’s all and nothing more as of yet.”
Sayys’ also elaborated on his next project after “WULF”.
Sayys, “I have two films that I haven’t really decided on which one I want or should do first, after WULF. One of the films is an adaptation of my sci-fi graphic novel of the same name called “Miscreation” that’s set in a semi post-apocalyptic world. The other film is called “Being”, a sci-fi/horror/thriller. “Miscreation” is a high concept story that needs a big budget to be done right. “Being” is also a high concept story, but doesn’t really need a very big budget to be done right. So it really comes down to which one we can do financially, at the time.”
Sayys wrote the screenplay to “WULF” and will be producing, directing and starring in the film. His producing partner, Sheila Ryan and their new producing partner Kira Willoughy will also serve as producers on film. “WULF” tells the story of Preston Cunningham, a mechanic struggling to make peace with his tragic past while battling an inner monster from folklore legend, after being attacked by an injured wolf in Alaska.
“Miscreation” is an action/sci-fi/horror/thriller. It takes place in the year 2065, when the United States economy has completely collapsed and the middle class has devolved to slavery. The story follows mysterious survivalists, Tristan and Haven, as they travel a disastrous landscape searching for a ruthless killer on a murdering spree. Sayys will direct from his own screenplay and will produce and star in the film. Sheila Ryan and Kira Willoughby will serve as producers on the film. “Miscreation” is the first graphic novel in Jeremiah Sayys’ graphic novel series, “A Nothing Place”, that he is currently developing.
“Being” tells the story of an eighteen year old college student and a thirty year old plumber, who develop an uncommon relationship that is tragically put on the line when the student begins to go through terrifying phases of inner body transformations after coming in contact with an unfamiliar insect. Sayys will once again direct from his own screenplay and will produce and star in the film. Ryan and Willoughby will serve as producers.
Other films on Sayys’ plate for the future are the following:
“DeadLands Cry” - A morally upstanding single father and his strong-willed teenage daughter are put to the test when volunteers renovating an old schoolhouse find themselves trapped and hunted by an inconceivable monster with an ominous past that reaches deep into local legend.
“Amoral Prodigy”, a dark and gritty horror/thriller about a solo detective investigating a case on a serial killer whose victims are showcased in gruesome and disturbing ways.
“The Bogeyman”, a sci-fi/horror/thriller that tells the story of a philosopher and her recovering alcoholic best friend that encounter a folkloric being, when a violent storm blacks out the entire neighborhood they live in.
“Glimpses of Being”, a sci-fi/horror/thriller about a corporate operative who’s sent on a job to categorize materials stored in a storage station, located on the realms of another solar system. He begins to reflect on his life and the people who were once in it he left behind on Earth, while battling the inner demons trying to destroy him.
Avery Guerra was kind enough to send me the links to a couple of interesting new films that so far haven't gotten much media hype.
The first is a little horror film called "The Mountain Wailer" (above) which is being released by Draconic Pictures under the direction of Rob Garcia. What I gather from the trailer, which is in Spanish,is that a couple of hikers in Venezuela get attacked by a Sasquatch, a werewolf or some other thing that goes bump in the night.
Looks very dramatic though.
The second is a "Blair Witch" meets the "X-Files" clone called "Unaware".
As you probably guessed before you even saw it, the film is about a couple who go out looking for fun, in a place that they shouldn't, and get chased around by a bunch of pissed off aliens, government types and the lot.
As is to be expected, the film is being marketed "Blair Witch" style with the old 'we found this footage a put together into a movie' routine.
I don't think anybody is going to buy that, but if you liked 'Blair Witch', and the 'X-Files', plus a couple of people bitching at each other to the point that you pray for the aliens to abduct them and do nasty things to their 'out holes,' then this may be for you.
Granted, that may be kinda unfair, the film could be kinda fun. Hey, who doesn't enjoy a little scary alien action from time to time?

Syfy will provide a howling good time in October with two wolfish Saturday Original Movies featuring a family of werewolf hunters and an ancient vengeful creature.
In Monsterwolf, premiering Saturday, October 9, at 9PM (ET/PT), an oil company defies a court injunction against drilling on tribal land. Red (Day) brings her fiancé home, where he meets the family and learns about their business -- hunting werewolves. He’s skeptical until bitten by a werewolf. Well, actually this one was experienced by my wife April.
You see, while I was in line to meet the cast of "Ghost Adventures", my darling wife became really excited after looking through the event's program book and said that she had to go and see something and that if she didn't go right now, she would miss it.
Being a typical husband I asked, "What is it?"
Being a typical wife she responded, "It's a surprise."
If your married then you understand this type of communication (or lack off) all too well.
Anyway, to make a long story short, my wife had discovered that a signing by the cast of the BBC series, "Being Human", was going on at that very moment just one floor below us.
Such was the case with literally everything that happens at Comic Con, there is at least a dozen cool things happening at the same time, and unless you are some kind of savant and can read through a hundred page program book, and retain the info, you are likely to miss something.

Just before my son and I reached the front of the line for "Ghost Adventures", my wife appeared just outside the que, smiling that wonderful smile of hers with a signed card from the cast of "Being Human" in hand.
Granted, I was a little sad that I hadn't gotten to meet them, but at least she got to, and I was about to meet the "Ghost Adventures" cast and she wasn't going to be able to. Fair is fair.
April commented that the entire cast was just "unbelievably beautiful" and were "really friendly and easy to talk to".

After the death of vampire leader Herrick at the end of season one, the supernatural friends are hoping they can now get on with their lives, but an even greater danger is lurking, within the very human world of which they want to be a part. Unbeknown to the trio, the mysterious Professor Jaggat and her cold-hearted colleague Kemp - religious zealots who have discovered the existence of vampires, werewolves and ghosts- are determined to carry out brutal experiments and destroy them.
While Professor Jaggat and Kemp plot behind the scenes, werewolf George is coming to terms with the fact that he has Herrick's blood on his hands, and a girlfriend who knows his horrific secret. Turning down the door of death has implications for ghost Annie, but her confidence is at a peak and she’s determined to stand up and be counted in the real world. And, with Herrick gone, Mitchell must appease an out of control vampire world - can he find a way to lead by example?
Being Human first premiered on the channel last July and quickly won over fans, with a sold out crowd at last year’s San Diego Comic Con. The Los Angeles Times said it “has not only avoided any sci-fi Three’s Company comparisons but wound up with a compelling, self-aware and funny story line. Buffy fans – come out of the Twilight and sink your teeth into this import” with The New York Times noting that “all three characters are highly appealing, but the charm of the show lies in the delicate balance of engrossing drama and disarming humor; the series is not campy or self-conscious, it’s witty in an offhand, understated way.”
The Being Human: Season1 DVD and Blu-ray is available now. Episode One:
Mitchell realizes that the vampire society is in complete disarray following the death of Herrick – and it’s about to implode. Meanwhile George seems like a changed man after crossing the line and killing – until he discovers a horrible truth about Nina. And Annie is feeling confident and visible enough to get a job.
Episode Two:
Annie thinks she has met the man of her dreams, a sexy human called Saul. But Saul is not all he seems and the only date he’s interested in is with Death. Meanwhile, Mitchell realizes that if he’s going to contain the vampires then he’s going to have to get his hands dirty. And George struggles to maintain a normal relationship with Nina.
Episode Three:
Mitchell becomes the reluctant leader of the vampires in an attempt to contain their increasingly random killings. The only light at the end of the tunnel is his burgeoning relationship with Lucy Jaggat, the feisty new doctor at work, who studies werewolves, vampires and ghosts. George, reeling from Nina’s departure, takes his mind off things by helping Annie in her mission to play Cupid. She’s determined to get her old boss Hugh back together with the love of his life.
Episode Four:
George embraces normality in a desperate attempt to contain the wolf. He gets a new job, a new girlfriend, and even a cage to transform in. But he soon recognizes that containing the wolf is an impossible task. Meanwhile, Annie meets an enigmatic ghost who offers to help her keep Death at bay. And Mitchell falls in deeper with the vampires.
Episode Five:
Mitchell’s past is revealed and the reasons why he turned his back on killing. In the present, he’s struggling to contain that same desire and need. Things with Lucy also come to a passionate head. Meanwhile, George’s relationship with his girlfriend, Sam continues to grow and Annie has a shock when she’s left looking after a ghost baby.
Episode Six:
Annie gets a job working with a stage psychic and finds a new sense of purpose by helping ghosts resolve their issues with their living relatives. But things take a turn for the worse when Annie’s mom appears in the audience. Meanwhile, Lucy’s reaction to sleeping with Mitchell has some very violent and shocking repercussions. And Sam has got a very important question for George.
Episode Seven:
Mitchell discovers a shocking truth about Lucy and the vampire massacre. He swears revenge – in style. Meanwhile, Nina returns, presenting George with the most difficult decision of his life. There are big decisions for Annie too, when she decides it’s time to pass on. George, Nina and Annie end up in Lucy’s research facility – and it seems that only Mitchell can save them.
Episode Eight:
It’s the final showdown at the research facility. Will Mitchell save his friends from Lucy’s macabre experiments? And as Mitchell’s heart blackens with rage and fury will his friends be able to save him from himself? And is this really the end of Annie?

What do you do if you are a Ironworker who has found it hard to find work during these rough economic times?
Why, you go to film school and make a werewolf movie of course.
It may sound like a joke, but that is exactly what Alexander Seyum did after he got laid off from his job as a boilermaker, he bit the bullet and decided to follow his dreams.
Seyum explains, "..I'm a student film maker currently at The Los Angeles Film School in Hollywood. But I wasn't always a film maker. I was a Union Boilermaker local#92 and an Ironworker for 5 years. During that part of my life I was writing short stories, poetry and recording music as my side projects. The recession hit and my Union lost a whole lot of work. So I had to make a hard decision at that time in my life. Wait for the work to come back or take a leap of faith and follow my dreams and become a film maker. So I decided...become a film maker! I grew up watching horror films, being inspired by Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsesse, Oliver Stone, Quintain Tarantino and Stephen King."
For his first film project, Seyum decided on a making a short werewolf movie entitled, "Darkmoon", which is part "American Werewolf in London" with a good portion of the 1941 Universal classic, "The Wolfman", added into the mix.
On "Darkmoon" the inspiring film maker teamed up with FX artist Zoie Roman, and his fellow Los Angeles Film School classmates, to create a modern film with the look and feel of the classics.
Roman was obviously inspired by the makeup created by Jack Pierce for Lon Chaney Jr when she designed the look for the werewolf in "Darkmoon". (See Below)
It is so refreshing to see young film makers reverting back to the way movies used to be made before CGI came on the scene.
The film, which is about 15 minutes long, and cost about $1800 to make, was originally a short-story penned by Seyum called, "The Beast of Forest Greens", which the film maker turned into a screen play.
Here is the synopsis:
For the past fifteen years there has been a myth about a creature lurking near the city of Los Angeles...today these sightings have reached an all time high."
As someone who has lived in Southern California most of my life, I can tell you that there are all kinds of 'creatures' lurking around LA .......... some human, some trying to pass for human. You really have to see it to believe it sometimes.
Presently "Darkmoon" is in post production and Seyum is pondering over a list of potential film festivals to submit it to.

Are you sick of wussy werewolf flicks like "Twilight"?
Are you sick of fast food?
Yeah, me too. Well it seems that film maker Brian Singleton (Forest of the Dead) has felt our pain, and created a good old fashioned werewolf on a rampage movie, that just happens to take place at a greasy small town drive-in.
No cheesy teen romances here, just good old boys, car hops, and a out of control man-beast who has opted to pass on the burgers and fries for some human flesh.
He doesn't even stop for a malted....and I here that they are the bomb over there at the Kingburger.
Oh, did I forget to mention that the film is called, "Werewolf Fever"? Don't know why I missed that?
Anyway, here is the plot:
At the Kingburger Drive-In, the food is fast, the service is sexy, and the price is right. But tonight, terror is on the menu when the Kingburger's cantankerous boss, Odi Buckmeyer, leaves the late shift employees to wait for Donnie the delivery driver. On his way back, Donnie is attacked by an unknown animal in the woods on an deserted road. Under the full moon, he transforms into a vicious creature of the night - descending from the darkness and back to the Kingburger! It's babes, brawn and burgers versus fur, fangs and fury in this gory, action-packed monster thriller!
Think of it as a cross between "An American Werewolf in London", "American Graffiti" and possibly....."Hee Haa".
Okay, that last part was a joke.
I don't think that we will have to endure any emo teen crap with this one. I'm willing to bet that Singleton's drooling wolfman won't fall for one of the car hops leading to an uncomfortable love-triangle between the pair and a long-haul trucker.
Maybe they will have to start calling this 'greasy-spoon' a 'bloody-spoon' instead?
Okay that was another joke.

The gripping finale of the second series of Being Human attracted an audience of one million (4.1%) last night (Sunday 28 February) on BBC Three.
BBC Three's popular and critically-acclaimed drama about supernatural housemates has once again proved a great success for the channel, with an audience of 1.6 million tuning into the launch episode of this series – an increase of half-a-million on the launch of series one (1.1 million).
Series two has averaged 1.2 million/4.2% and 8.2% amongst 16-34s, and across the week reaches 3.3 million, 8.4% amongst 16-34s.
It has also received 1.7 million requests on BBC iPlayer across the series, with all eight episodes still available to watch for the next seven days.
Being Human's website – bbc.co.uk/beinghuman – is BBC Three's best performing site ever and has built a dedicated fan-base through regularly updated posts from cast and crew throughout the show's two series.
BBC Three is now the most-watched digital channel for the hours it broadcasts and, since its relaunch, it has grown young audiences by 30%.
Being Human is produced by Touchpaper Television, written by Toby Whithouse and stars Russell Tovey, Aidan Turner, Lenora Crichlow and Sinead Keenan.
