It has been a really long time since a decent, a possibly legitimate, video of Bigfoot has surfaced. Sure, if you search Youtube, you will find tons of Bigfoot related clips, most of them guys in cheap gorilla suites reenacting scenes from beef jerky commercials and the like, but this last week a possible sighting that was posted to the site has become all the rage, especially in Russia.
The clip, which was reportedly shot in the Gum Hill area of Georgia, shows a couple of 'good old boys' out riding their ATVs in a river. As the rider in the video travels down stream, an upright walking creature can be seen moving from right to left just ahead of him. The second that the biker sees the animal, he comes to a quick halt, and points to it.
Granted, the alleged Bigfoot is only seen from a distance, and only for a few seconds, but the movement and size of the animal is very similar to the one captured in the famous, "Paterson Video" that was shot back in 1967.
Is it a hoax? Well, that would be hard to say for sure. The quality of the video makes it hard to make out too many details. Certainly, due to the sheer numbers of bogus clips posted to Youtube, it would stand to reason that this may be just a well made prank, but then again it could be the real deal.
On a side note, I want to point out that the clip is all the rage in Russia, and they are claiming it as their own. A certain Alex Marozov has been sending the clip to media outlets, stating that it was filmed in Russia on April 5th at 6:30 pm.
Here is a quote from Marozov that he sent to All News Web, 'This video is allegedly of a yeti. Videos of Yetis or Bigfoot always cause excitement. This recent one was taken on ‘Gam-Hill’.
This miss-spelling, changing Gum to Gam, has sent a lot of people searching, myself included, for any information about the area and "The Beast of Gam Hill." Well come to find out that there is no such area called "Gam Hill" anywhere in Russia, and the video is as Ameican as apple pie and Coca-Cola.
Hey Russia, stop trying to steal our monster videos! Get your own!

I think the key to knowing whether certain videos are hoaxes or not (minus the obvious gorilla suits in some of them) has to do with how people react in the situation (you can really tell if they are acting or not). I think the video you posted might be authentic. Also, have you seen this one? Pretty sure this one's real....
