Giant Fossilized Human Tracks In The Paluxy Riverbed Prove The Existance Of Bigfoot?

Cliff Crook has been looking for evidence to prove the existence of Bigfoot ever since he saw one in 1956. Now, he believes that he has the proof in a set of giant human footprints in the Paluxy Riverbed near Glen Rose, Texas.

Crook has compared casts of the controversial tracks with a set of reported Bigfoot tracks he cast near Mount Rainier in 1990. The prints are almost identical.


Crook may be excited that he may have made the scientific discovery of the century, but not so fast.

For those of you not familiar with the giant humanoid prints that run right alongside dinosaur tracks in the Paluxy Riverbed, let me catch you up.

In the 1930s a set of human footprints were discovered in a prehistoric rock formation alongside dinosaur prints in the Paluxy river near the town of Glen Rose, Texas. The area was discovered to be a virtual treasure-trove of prehistoric fossils and was later named Dinosaur Valley State Park.

Many of the Christian faith point to these tracks as proof of "Creation" because the tracks overlap a set of dinosaur tracks, meaning that the prints had to be made at the same time.

To make it simple, the mud that has now turned to stone was still 'wet' when the dinosaurs and the alleged human stepped in it.

According to evolution, dinosaurs and humans did not inhabit this planet at the same time.

These prints seem to prove otherwise.

It would stand to reason that the discovery of such tracks would have sparked a huge controversy in the scientific community, whose stance on the matter is that they are either a mistaken interpretation of smaller dinosaur tracks, or outright hoaxes.

In fact, there is strong evidence to the latter, due to the fact that back in the 1930s, Glen Rose residents made a living off of the fossils and tracks found in the area, and apparently when they became scarce, they made their own.

So the giant human tracks may be fakes, which doesn't help Crook's case much.

Also, if the prints are indeed genuine, they don't prove the existence of Bigfoot. Well, yes they would prove that an animal like Bigfoot once existed, but that has already been proven with the fossilized teeth and jawbones of Gigantopithecus.

The problem is not in proving that Bigfoot once existed, science has already pretty much done that, its proving that it still exists today. That is the hard part.

I'm sorry to be the one to rain on Cliff Crook's parade, but all the Sasquatch footprints in the world, prehistoric or not, will ever convince the skeptics.

I'm afraid that only a body, or a live specimen, will do that.

For now, Bigfoot still remains an undiscovered animal.
