Oklahoma Bigfoot Researchers Come Home With Prints And Personal Encounters

D.W. Lee, director of the Mid-America Bigfoot Research Center, and his research team emerged from the woods of southeastern Oklahoma this past weekend with a print cast and a number of personal experiences to ponder over.

Indeed Lee's expedition seemed more like an episode of "Ghost Hunters" than a typical crypto search. While trekking through the woods the team spotted a pair of large upright walking creatures with their night-vision gear. Moments later the team was pelted with rocks, presumably thrown by the creatures.

"A lot of people, it doesn't really dawn on them when rocks land near them" that Bigfoot could be responsible, Lee said.

The true prize find of the expedition was not a bunch of bruises caused by projectiles hurled by Bigfoot, however, but a 15 3/4 inch cast made from a set of tracks discovered some 5 miles deep in the wilderness.

"The toes were clearly visible on the cast after it was lifted up," Lee explained.

Additionally, Lee and his team heard "vocalizations" in the woods that they recognize as the tell-tale mocking calls of Bigfoot. Whoop sounds, "attempted imitations" of whippoorwills and mimicking of dove and owl calls were also heard.

Now that the group has returned home, they intend on spending the next several weeks milling over the hundreds of photographs and videos shot by the 30 members who participated in the weekend expedition.
