UFO Filmed Over UK Coast - Wind Turbine Mystery Solved?

A new video has surfaced in the UK that plainly shows a mysterious cylinder hovering over a campsite and the final explanation of what happened to the wind turbine in Conisholme has been released.

Reportedly last July a group of campers in Brean, Somerset (UK) filmed this cylinder shaped UFO as it hovered over them for ten minutes. The video was shot at the height of the tourist season the event was witnessed by hundreds of tourists on holiday in the area.

Though the footage is several months old it was just submitted to a local news website on Monday.

The video has already made it on to many websites including Youtube where it has spawned much debate. Malcolm Robinson, who runs UFO group Strange Phenomena Investigations, remarked after viewing the footage, "This video of a UFO is clearly very exciting. While UFOs are commonly thought to be spherical in shape, we receive dozens of calls from people who have spotted similar cylinder-shaped objects."

And here is an update on the reported collision of a UFO with a wind turbine in Conisholme (UK).

The turbine manufacturer Enercon, published preliminary results of its investigation on Tuesday saying that a broken bolt was responsible for the mishap.

The firm said that the bolts securing the blade to the turbine's hub "exhibited classic signs of fatigue failure".

It added that though the bolts themselves had shown no flaws, it appears that a component part on either side had "induced stress in the bolts beyond their design limits".

The report also stated that the mysterious lights that were witnessed were the result of fireworks display that was put on by employees of The Guardian newspaper.

I don't know about you, but that whole explanation kinda sounds like a cover-up. If indeed the bolts failed on the wind turbine, where did the missing blade go?

It also discounts all of the eye witness testimony.

  1. Actually, the blade was found directly underneath...it was just a rumour that it was missing. I live in London and remember the story.
