It would seem that the giant monster genre is very much alive and well in Korea. Hot on the heels of the latest news that both, "The Host 2" and "D-War 2", have begun production, comes news of yet another Korean monster movie project.
Doosabu Film and Polygon Entertainment have begun pre-production on this new monster film, possibly called "Sector 7", which will be shot later this year. The movie is reportedly about the crew of an oil rig battling a deep sea monster. As of yet no director or cast have been announced.
The two film companies are also working on a disater movie called, "Haeundae," which will be directed by Doosabu head Yoon Je-gyun. It is billed as South Korea’s first disaster movie and centers on a tsunami that wipes out South Korea’s most famous beach, Haeundae, in Busan City. Actress Ha Ji-won has reportedly been cast in the lead role. This film will also begin shooting this year.
Robo Japan will post more info on these two projects in the near future.

I've seen it, & it was neat, but what was so funny about it? Was it because of the ..... subtitles & their Korean tongue not mixing well?
