During the long run of the "Friday the 13th" movies, Jason Vorhees, as made a habit out of attacking young women, but at a recent party to celebrate the series latest film, it was the hockey mask wearing horror icon that was being attacked.
When Warrington Gillette, who played serial killer Jason Vorhees in 1981's "Friday the 13th Part 2", took to the stage wearing the iconic costume and brandishing a real axe, a woman from the crowd jumped onto the platform and tried to wrestle the weapon away from him.
During the exchange, Gillette's hand was slashed and he had to be taken to a nearby hospital.
A witness told the New York Post, "She jumped on stage and tried to grab his axe. It was straight out of a horror movie. Lingerie-clad models were running and screaming, as a blood-soaked Jason ran off the runway to get to a hospital."
Maybe this is a sign that the "Friday the 13th" series is starting to become outdated? Women today won't put up with that kind of crap, and they certainly won't go out without a fight!
$43.5 mil in four days is hardly "outdated".
