Texas is really big state. I mean really big, and over the decades this huge spot of real estate centered right in the middle of this great county, has had it's fair share of monster sightings.
I can remember living in Texas as a youth in the 1970's when reports were coming in from all around the state that there was some sort of flying dinosaur on the loose. I remember the almost nightly news reports of people being attacked by this winged menace, each alleged victim showing off a body full of bite marks and scratches to prove their claims.
That scared the crap out of me. I vividly remember checking the sky every time I went out to play.
That was then, and this is now. Over the following decades, the reports of flying monsters faded, replaced by Bigfoot sightings and reports of the blood-thirsty Chupacabra.
Over the past decade there have been tons of video evidence emerging from the lone star state of a strange looking, coyote-like, creature that no one in the scientific community can seem to positively identify.
So when Horizon City, Texas, resident Robert Garcia discovered 30 of his chickens killed, and drained of all blood, last week, there could only be one answer.
The Chupacabra was to blame!
Garcia told reporters, "We started looking at the bite marks ands there were two. The first thing that came to our mind was the Chupacabra!"
Garcia, being a true Texan, wants to set up a trap to lure the mystery chicken murderer back so that he can 'bushwhack' em........I mean....study it.
"We're thinking about buying some more chickens and staying out here one night and see what's killing them or what's going on," he said.
From what I know of 'the good ol boys' in Texas, I don't give anything that shows up to get those chickens much of a chance.....'goat sucker' or not.
