The closest I've ever gotten to a human-sized Godzilla was when I saw several filming & event suits. and the Godzilla statue at Toho Studios over the years.
Now, "true" Godzilla fans can own a human-sized Godzilla figure of their very own. The only problem is coming up with the money to buy one and where to put it.Otaku USA has an article on the Godzilla figure.

Okay, cool. But are you a big enough Godzilla fan to buy an incredibly expensive, human-size Godzilla figure?
Yeah, me neither.
First of all, I’m not sure where exactly I would put it, but more importantly, check out that price tag: ¥4,482,000. Four-point-four million yen.
